Ah, issues with brush lettering. It's happened to all of us. We've used frayed pens when we shouldn't, not held our pens correctly and were not able to hit that correct 55 degree angle no matter how much we twisted and cramped our hand! The death grip was real guys. Well friends - in this video I give you details on how to properly hold your pen, how to angle your paper to easily achieve the correct slant line and how to tell if your brush pen is frayed.
If you have any other brush calligraphy questions or issues, let me know and we'll troubleshoot together.
